Shentons were the duty solicitors who represented me when taken into custody, I have now been advised the police will be taking No Further Action against me. Although there was nothing particularly controversial about what to disclose at my taped police interview it was reassuring to have the advice and backing of a competent legal representative.

Highly recommended solicitors. Shentons provided me with excellent professional advice. At each step I found them knowledgeable, easy to communicate with and value for money.

We had a very bad experience with Lucy Spollin one of the partners, overcharging us after giving us a quotation. It seems like a way of getting business. We complained and got some money back but the fact that we had to go through a formal complaint process was not great. The overcharge was so much that even after some refund we still paid more than expected.

We got the breakdown and for instance there was a charge for confirming the deposit had arrived in their bank account. Something that a secretary should do without any charges Lucy confirmed at the cost of about 20 if I remember! Happy to provide evidence! Also we had to chase so much to start with and got quite worried. That eventually resolved itself but overall it wasn't a positive experience. The job got done at the end but I will never use their services or recommend to anyone.

Fantastic service. We used Shentons to buy a property and sell our old one. The process had a few obstacles along the way which seemed stressful at first, but Shentons were able to sort everything out smoothly and professionally. I would definitely use them again - you're guaranteed an excellent service when you go with a quality firm.

Patrick Hunter assisted my father brother and myself through the probate and will reading of my late mother. He was patient, attentive and compassionate throughout the whole process. So so helpful especially with my father. He went on to help Dad set up his health and welfare lasting power of attorney. We can't thank him enough.

Had the misfortune of trying to deal with this Company acting as probate solicitors for the disposal of an estate. They washed their hands of the questionable techniques employed by their chosen local estate agent and I was roundly messed about to the point I lost the buyer of my own property twice - deal with extreme caution as they don't give any impression of caring about the effects of their actions or those of their agents.

Don't waste your time here. They sing the bells and whistles, but are a complete flap and waste your time. Making you wait upto 30 mins past appointment times and provide you with misguided information. I wasted 3 days and 2 hours of my time with this firm. If it's a Civil matter, go with Irwin Mitchell instead, your time will be better spent.

Good place for legal advice. Excellent service. Parking is available at pay and display unfortunately and a little awkward to find. Highly recommended for legal services
