I could not recommend Spencer Skuse & Potter more. Many conveyancing firms in my experience are slow to progress your transaction and difficult to get hold of once instructed. This was the complete opposite with Spencer Skuse & Potter, with Alex Oakley (along with his brother Andrew) providing me with a top class service throughout. They never needed to be chased and dealt with everything very proactively.

I was also impressed how they dealt with various hiccups pragmatically, keeping me informed at every juncture. 10/10 and will now always use this firm for any conveyancing/property related legal work, along with recommending them to anyone I know who needs such services.

Poor communication. I would not pay unless all work completed. Commercial lease still not registered with land registry 4 years on!

I would not recommend them. Graeme Skuse seems to think that if a deposit is protected late then a section 21 is valid. This is not true, if a landlord protects a deposit more than 30 days after receipt and wishes to issue a section 21 the deposit must be returned.

Would highly recommend them. Graeme was such an amazing solicitor and helped process the sale of our house so quickly and professionally especially in this difficult time. He was always there to answer our calls (which is a very rare find with some solicitors - who you can never get a hold of) and no question was too silly to ask.
