My 90 year old father wanted to update his will but didn't know where to start. I contacted Mewies remotely on his behalf and they were very helpful. Ms Leslie Tuck arranged to visit him in his home ( he is fairly deaf and not very mobile ) and drafted his new will for him. Once he had had time to review it and ask any questions, Ms tuck visited him again, this time with her PA, and the two of them witnessed his signature on the final copy.

Dad said that they were very helpful and polite and all of this was done for a very reasonable price. Dad and I were both really happy with the service and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this solicitor.

My partner and I have had the pleasure of having Erica as our solicitor for the purchase of our first property. Erica made herself available to offer advice, support and guidance on numerous occasions and, at all times, shown patience, professionalism and reassurance. She went above and beyond her own responsibilities to support not only my partner and I but the sellers when they were unable to get in touch with their own solicitor! If you are looking to purchase a house, I would strongly recommend!

Do not use this firm. Due to their Victorian approach to communication, they have caused completely unnecessary delays in a 3 person chain house move. Their inability to communicate to anyone during the process and to delay what should have been a simple process have caused everyone within the chain unnecessary stress, financial loss and complete confusion. Embarrassing.

The sale of our cottage was handled professionally and efficiently by Helen Akroyd and her team. We were kept updated throughout, and they managed the completion at short notice just before Christmas. I would certainly recommend them.
