Questions
How do I create a legally binding will?
Our solicitors guide you through drafting a will that meets legal requirements, covering asset distribution, guardianship appointments, and tax efficiency. We ensure proper execution with witnesses to prevent future disputes.
What happens if someone dies without a will?
Intestacy rules determine asset distribution, potentially causing family conflicts. We help executors and relatives navigate probate, identify entitled beneficiaries, and resolve disputes over estate administration.
How can I fund long-term care costs?
We assess eligibility for NHS funding, advise on local authority means testing, and implement asset protection strategies through trusts or property arrangements to manage care home costs effectively.
What are lasting powers of attorney?
Lasting Powers of Attorney allow appointed individuals to make financial or healthcare decisions if you lose capacity. We guide you through creating and registering these documents to ensure your wishes are followed.
How do collaborative law proceedings work?
Collaborative law involves negotiated settlements without court proceedings. Both parties and their solicitors work together to reach mutually beneficial agreements on divorce, finances, and child arrangements through structured discussions.

Nick Kingsley and his team guided us through what should have been a simple house sale that turned into nearly 4 years of hell. A fantastic solicitor who went above and beyond and a fantastic firm. Claire and Sally were particularly brilliant. So grateful to them all.
