Gill Cheetham

Gill has been a solicitor since 1989 and has been at Brighouses since 1992. She heads our family department and specialises in all areas of family law, including divorce and separation, financial settlements, cohabitation disputes and children issues. Gill has expertise in high net worth financial disputes and also has considerable experience in conveyancing transactions.
Mike Braham

Mike joined Brighouses in 1987 and became a partner of the firm a year later. He is head of our crime department and has criminal litigation accreditation membership (CLAS). Mike also specialises in matrimonial areas including divorce and matrimonial finance as well as licensing law and probate. Mike prides himself on being approachable and friendly as well as having excellent relationships with his clients.
Gill Dowling

Gill trained with Brighouses and after a period with other firms returned to Brighouses in 2013. Her friendly and approachable manner is much appreciated by her clients. Gill has extensive experience in the sale and purchase of commercial properties, dealing with commercial leases and commercial refinances including large portfolios of properties.
Alison Owen

Alison is a lawyer with a wealth of legal experience. Alison became a junior to a local Southport firm in 1982 before progressing to a secretarial position. She was admitted to the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in 1997 and has worked in Residential Conveyancing since. Alison prides herself on providing a friendly and personal service to every one of her clients.
