Critical: Responsiveness Still awaiting feedback regarding my Power of Attorney from last year. I spoke to a lady at the new owners who told me she had passed my details on to the relevant person at McLures with an assurance I would be contacted. This still has not happened. They have been paid for this and still nothing. Beware.

My wife and I decided recently to set up Power of Attorney and write a will. Having heard a radio ad for MClure solicitors we decided to use their services. From initial contact the service provided was of the highest standard. All options were very clearly explained, great advice was given as to what services would best meet our needs and the whole process was carried out timeously.

Our advisor was extremely helpful and was very patient as we considered our options. We have no hesitation in recommending McClure Solicitors to anyone requiring legal advice/services and we will certainly use their services in the future.

Fantastic service and would highly recommend. My wife and I prepared our wills with McClure Solicitors as part of their free will and charitable donation service (Will Aid). We were originally slightly concerned about using a free will service however these were unjustified and the service we received was highly professional and very efficient. We didn't know what information we required or even questions we had to ask ourselves however the advice we received addressed this and was very thorough. My wife and I required mirror wills and the wills were drafted and finalized over two meetings over Zoom. Overall feel very satisfied!

My husband and I recently used McClure Sols will making service. Despite this being in the middle of the covid crisis and so all having to be done on line we found the service excellent. Appointments were all on line and always on time, the service was friendly yet professional and as first timers to will writing everything was explained to us really well. Following our experience and recommendation, my parents have also used McClure for the same service.

Very poor service. Absolutely ridiculous to contact. When will someone get back in touch with my mum to sort the issue. Would not recommend. Absolutely non responsive. Will not get back to emails or calls. My grandad died in September and the paperwork has suddenly gone missing in their office. Is this a GDPR issue? Do we need to take this further?

Absolutely dissatisfied with this service. Is this company regulated? If so, please let me know further details so I can take this further and make an official complaint. Kind regards. Very disappointed. EDIT: I was contacted by a sales person today (22/02/2021) who passed all the information to the office to get my mother a call back. THIS DID NOT HAPPEN!

Surprise surprise. You can contact people who you want to bait as new custom, but not people you're already dealing with. I had to literally book an appointment to say I was interested in a service to get some form of contact. I'm sure the legal ombudsman will be interested in this. From reading the reviews it seems there's a few issues.

Under the Will Aid scheme I was matched with McClure Solicitors. Paul was friendly, really helpful and provided me with the information needed, clearly and succinctly. All correspondence was punctual and easy to understand.

My husband and I used McClure's will writing service. We found the entire process to be incredibly simple in spite of all the implications of Covid-19. We were able to complete everything from home without any problem. Our adviser Peter Harrison explained everything to us in a professional but friendly way. We would definitely use McClure Solicitors again and would recommend them to family and friends.

I took advantage of the free will writing service that McClure Solicitors offer in partnership with McMillan. A totally professional service from staff from start to finish, whilst still remaining friendly and approachable. A very pleasant experience. I contacted McClure solicitors having seen their offer on the St Oswald's Hospice website to make wills free of charge and to give a donation to the hospice. This coincided with my wanting to make a new will and, even though I no longer live in the North East, I was keen to support St Oswald's. Following subsequent and very helpful conversations with Irene McKenzie, I chose to go down a different route to a standard will.

It may still be logical for me to use the company again even though I don't live locally. In fact the past year of lockdowns and increased use of virtual meetings means that the physical location of service providers such as yourself may be less important than before. The only reservation I have about our interactions is that the process of drafting, confirming, witnessing signatures and receiving a signed copy of my document did seem unduly protracted - especially as it wasn't especially complex. Also, It would have been helpful to have been told how long each stage was going to take rather than my having to chase up this information en route.
