Updated Fast response to my online questions Sent the forms for me to fill out I haven't yet but plan to and hire them as long as it's not crazy money So I emailed my stuff back and haven't heard back from them. I emailed again to see if they got my last email with paperwork and heard nothing back

I have had personal and professional dealings with Mark Iddles and his Team and cannot stress enough what an excellent service My Family and I have recieved not only during the Pandemic which has been tough working conditions but also during a difficult time of dealing with a probate sale. Mark and his Team have gone above and beyond to get this sale over the line, thankyou all so much.

Solicitors are sought in times of difficulty, when matters are out out of you own hands and when you lack the required expertise. Wollens have done nothing but take advantage of this in my case. I have just paid a "bill" for which I don't actually have any record of any work being done. No actual correspondence as they have described, has been received regarding outstanding payments for this apparent work, but a threatening letter was received instead.

At no point has anything actually been signed by myself, nor have I even met any representative in person. Yet, I owe them for work that I actually instructed another firm to do, for little more than the amount I have just paid Wollens. I pay this fee now, purely out of fear that I would never be able to argue with a law firm that pulled the wool over my eyes from the beginning. If you enquire, you will be billed from the start, without warning, without knowing what you are actually paying for.

Took to long to sort clam over a year then they tell you they can't help totally waste of time do not trust this firm never call you back when you ask them took over a week to get a call back now iv lost all chances making a clam as they let my 3 Yr slip by them and not even a sorry. For there poor service they offer shocking company. Be warned.

We were lucky enough to have Liz at Wollens work on our son's medical negligence claim. I would not hesitate to recommend her. Liz was both friendly and professional and ensured we understood every part of the process. Their professional services meant we successfully settled.

Went through the process of buying our first house with Wollens as our solicitor. Grade II listed house. Our solicitor Jodie was very approachable and friendly. Very quick to get back via phone or email with our questions. Good clear explanations in writing (and over the phone where necessary) of all searches/enquiries and returned very quickly after becoming available.

Great value for money with no added fees. Recommended to us by a senior property advising consultant from JLL (Jones Lang Lasalle). All round friendly, reliable and timely service at a competitive price.

It's a shame they didn't appear appear to put as much effort into protecting our interests, as they have since for trying to refute our claim for alleged professional negligence. They didn't even get my name correct on some paperwork. Diabolical, cavalier, self-preserving attitude. I would definitely NOT recommend them.

Having moved multiple times in recent years, suffering the frustrations of Estate Agents and Conveyancing Solicitors, it was a pleasant surprise to find one that was not only as good to her word, but operated completely transparently - communication was full and meaningful without the need to chase, fully accessible and for once we felt as if there was someone working for you rather than against. The company was Wollens in Exeter and the Paralegal in question was Daisy Otton - highly recommended.

I did not have a good experience with my lawyer here, and I chose to switch firms part-way through my case. I was assigned Mark Shell as my lawyer, and I personally found him to be patronising and distracted. I had to chase him for updates on two occasions (which he charged me for responding to), and these delays appeared to annoy his counterpart on the 'other side' (which I don't know, may have been a tactic, but I found the delays very stressful).

Mark admitted that a partner had left during the timeframe of my case, which meant that he became very busy. However I would personally have preferred him to refer me elsewhere. The firm I switched to was a similar price, but the experience was so much better and I felt my new lawyer had a much better understanding of my case, things moved quicker, and he was more responsive. I would not recommend Mark Shell based on my experience.

I would certainly have no hesitation in recommending Wollen Michelmore. I dealt with both the Newton Abbot and Torquay office in regard to drawing up a Will, Lasting Power of Attorney and a Declaration of Trust document. Everything was explained very carefully, I knew exactly what to expect within a specified timescale and the fees I thought were very fair.

I was updated on a regular basis and had full confidence in the service provided - not once did I feel that I needed to chase to find out what was happening. It was a very personal service and although they are a fairly large firm I always felt welcome and certainly never felt that I "was just another footfall through the door". If I ever need further legal advice/solutions I will be using Woolen Michelmore for sure.

Dreadful experience quoted under a 1000 for a simple case which I paid upfront (not recommended) received constant phone calls and emails suggesting ideas (charging all the time without warning) ended up back at the beginning as none of the ideas were worthwhile and then gave me a bill for a further 1900 on top! I pulled the case from them and dealt with it myself which took 2 weeks all resolved.

I refused to pay the extra money and put a complaint in as I felt some of the 1000 given should be refunded due to no useful help being received and I had to deal with the case on my own in the end anyway, no response from them for 4 years and last week a bill comes through asking for the 1900! I won't be paying and I'm happy to go to court to reclaim the money I have paid. Rip off merchants. BEWARE!
