Amazing food and bedrooms. we booked a family suit in the court yard and was a better than expected! the food was amazing but im not the biggest fan of meat but i accidentally ordered the meat dinner instead which is my fault, not the hotels. the gardens are amazing, we wondered around them for hours! i think that this is an extremely good hotel and is not overrated at all!

We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary here and it was everything we had hoped for, and more. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Garden tour by Joseph was informative and fascinating. The main event- the 7 course dinner was perfection. Only sorry we didn't get to meet Raymond!

What a way to celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary. 6 course Sunday lunch was lovely but the main course was chicken which made it seem overly expensive. Fabulous room in the main house. Great choice of breakfast items but missed the bread/patisserie buffet table.

From the ment I pulled up on the car, nothing was too much trouble - i arrived at 8am for a cookery course and checked into the hotel. I was taken to the cookery school and was assured that my car would be parked and bags would be available in our room. My wife was due to arrive later in the day (accompanied by our ) - the staff knew this and made sure that the dog bed was the right size.

The room itself was fantastic and came with a bowl of home grown fruit and a lemon cake Little touches like this enhance the experience but it is the staff that make it out of this world - everyone seemed to know who we were - we were treated as returning friends and advised on walks, viewpoints and history. I do also have to mention that the food - dinner particularly - was exceptional, served with panache, descriptions and fantastic wines. And finally, if you're interested, the course was so informative and great fun!

We have thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay. Fully justifies its rightly highly praised status and reputation. Food, accommodation, location and everything elsecannot be faulted. All th various staff are unfailing pleadant helpful and friendly. Genuinely welcoming. You are treated as a welcome guest not a number or just another customer. It is unquestionably an expensive venue but is still value for money.

The seven course tasting menus are a constant delight and a revelation. All served at an unhurried pace but rightly so to enhance enjoyment and to allow time to savour and reflect. The fresh ingredients are beautifully presented and the imaginative dishes are invariably well executed. Difficult to fault the entire experience on any ground. It will be long remembered and recalled with great pleasure. Don't fail to explore the grounds which are a picture and well worth a leisurely wander.

Bucket list and Ruby wedding treat. We visited instead of a flash party. Quiet get away. Fabulous couldn't want for anymore. Everything faultless and the bill issue was sorted without any issues. Would visit again.

A weekend booked by my wife to celebrate my 60th Birthday. From start to finish of our stay we were looked after extremely well. On arrival we had afternoon tea which was stunning. On the second evening we had the taster menu nothing was too much trouble with a few tweeks to the menu due to food allergies. Fantastic.

We had lunch. It was everything one wanted. The venue was quietly opulent oozing luxury without being stuffy. The staff react to you so personally you forget they are staff and you are not - it's like being at a an old friends house. Eating at Le Manoir was something we'd wanted to do for 20 years and of significant outlay for us - but the experience transcended what 'value' means - too few things in life are perfect.

If you have the money, and are lucky enough to get a booking, this is a perfect place for a special occasion. Indulgent without being over the top, excellent food, the best service, and lovely grounds. A masterclass in how to run a top level establishment.

An incredible and amazing weekend and the perfect place to celebrate my 70th birthday with family and friends. From the moment of arrival you're taken care of with care and professionalism. Bedrooms are beautifully appointed, real 5* luxury. A walk around the gardens brings home the importance of organic produce in the menus and the sculptures are lovely. An aperitif before the 7 course dinner menu starts the evening in comfortable lounges, followed by out of this world food.

Every course made us all go 'wow' with the presentation and flavours, and the wine we chose was delicious. After a restful night's sleep, breakfast was another delightful experience, with traditional choices. We didn't want to leave, but all great things come to an end. Staff could not have been more warm, helpful and friendly, making us feel very welcome. Overall the Oxford Escape could not have been better. We have great memories to keep.

I have never dealt with anyone so unprofessional. Barely responded to emails or phone calls. When they did they were rude. Demanded money for stuff I told them not to do. Demanded I drove 150 miles to pay my bill with less than 24 hours notice. When I rang the next day I got a pre-recorded message to say the office was closed. Bills were ridiculous and had to take to ombudsman to get compensation. Do not use!
