Dental Negligence Claims
We specialise in dental negligence claims, helping patients seek compensation for substandard care. Our team of solicitors and dentists assesses clinical records, identifies breaches in duty, and pursues justice for physical, psychological, or financial harm caused by dental professionals. Clients benefit from our no-win, no-fee model and decades of expertise.
Nerve Damage Compensation
Our firm handles claims for nerve damage resulting from dental procedures, including extractions and implants. We evaluate cases involving lingual nerve injuries, inflammation, or permanent damage, ensuring clients receive compensation for pain, corrective treatment, and long-term impacts on quality of life.
Wrong Tooth Extraction
We pursue compensation for patients who underwent incorrect tooth extractions. Our experts review dental records to prove negligence, addressing unnecessary pain, additional procedures, and the emotional distress caused by preventable errors during routine dental work.
Cosmetic Dentistry Claims
Our team addresses negligence in cosmetic procedures like veneers, implants, and smile makeovers. We secure compensation for botched treatments, ensuring clients cover corrective work and emotional harm from unmet expectations or physical complications.
Oral Cancer Misdiagnosis
We represent patients harmed by delayed oral cancer diagnoses. Our solicitors prove negligence by demonstrating failure to screen or refer, securing funds for advanced treatment, rehabilitation, and the psychological impact of late-stage diagnosis.

Questions
What constitutes dental negligence?
Dental negligence occurs when a dentist's care falls below acceptable standards, causing harm through misdiagnosis, incorrect procedures, or failure to obtain informed consent.
How long do I have to make a claim?
You have three years from the negligence date or discovery to file a claim. Children have until age 21 if claimed on their behalf.
Can I claim against an NHS dentist?
Yes. Claims against NHS dentists target the individual's insurance, not the NHS, ensuring accountability without straining public resources.
What compensation could I receive?
Compensation varies based on injury severity, financial loss, and psychological impact. Past settlements range from £15,000 to £20,000 on average.
How are cases funded?
Most cases use no-win, no-fee agreements, meaning legal costs are recovered from the dentist's insurer if successful. No upfront fees are required.
What if my case goes to court?
Most claims settle out of court. If litigation is necessary, our team prepares robust cases, ensuring clients are represented effectively throughout the process.

I mainly dealt with both Olivia's I feel the service was good given we was in the middle of a pandemic. It did take almost 3 years to be settled but made a horrible experience a lot easier. I was kept up to date throughout any questions answered and a prompt response. I feel the DLP acted in my best interests. All of the problems I encountered was listened to and put to paper in a way I never could. The fee's was quite high and amounted to as much as my claim. The no win no fee agreement takes any stress away from it so I have no regrets. Would use again but hopefully I will never have to.

I contacted DLP last year after I had a very bad experience with my Dentist after not doing treatment right and told me I had to pay to have the treatment again. Since i had the treatment the dentist was taken over by a new dentist and no longer had all my records. DLP emailed me saying that due to lack of evidence and the fact their director has a personal relationship with this particular dentist, so will not be able to take on my claim due to conflict of interest. very disappointed as after hearing advertisements on radio I thought they sounded really good. So guess I just have to deal with my dental work being of poor quality as a dental law firm wont take on the case

NEVER send this firm anything, they will insist on it being sent by recorded post & never reimburse you. I would insist that they send a courier, make the parasitic ambulance chasers pay, and inconvenience them as much as possible. They insisted that I sent my notes for a patient by recorded delivery. I had to drive 12 miles to a post office wait for half an hour until they reopened after lunch, don a mask & gloves & pay 6.30. I asked them to reimburse the postage. This was not forthcoming I have rung them twice & never been rung back.
