Cornwall Law Society The Cornwall Law Society is a County-wide association of solicitors and trainees, made up of those who practise within the County of Cornwall and currently has over 300 members. It is an autonomous organisation - there are nearly 150 similar societies throughout England and Wales and is completely independent of The Law Society in London which is the governing and regulatory body for the Profession as a whole.

Recent events have covered topics on property litigation, contentious probate, criminal law and residential and commercial property updates;. For trainees and newly qualified lawyers the benefits the Society can offer are even greater as they have a chance to network with their peers and build working relationships (and possibly even friendships) which will hopefully assist them in their future careers.

The Junior Lawyers Division of the Cornwall Law Society represents trainee solicitors and junior qualified solicitors and CILEx members up to 5 years PQE. We organise special events throughout the year providing the opportunity for junior lawyers to socialise together and share work experiences. As well as social events, we offer training opportunities, including a locally held Stage 1 Management Course.
