When purchasing my first property, I encountered various legal difficulties with my first appointed firm, so much so that the completion of my property was in jeopardy. I then came to Ruby at Howard Kennedy under high recommendation and am pleased to say herself and the firm were professional and helpful until the very end. Her expertise and thoroughness were extremely reassuring, she was friendly and approachable with all questions no matter how small. And Ruby personally made the whole daunting process much easier, as I knew I was in safe hands. Stay away from such fraudulent! A very good friend of mine has asked a piece of work for a fixed fee. they did not deliver the job while charged 3 times more. I am putting the case into a case in a TV programme. Avoid engaging with such bunch of fraudulent.

Scammer is right description for Howard Kennedy They are truly a bunch of charlatans! They quoted me for 9k charged me 3 times more! One of the solicitors offered a conference call to offer a service for exactly 15 minutes and charged me over 7500! Without I accept his service. Scammer is right description for the firm. Wait for TV programme about them. Anyone wants more information about them, contact the author of these lines. I shall provide all evidence for my statement.

If i can give minus 5 stars then i would. They are the asking for some absurd questions for conveyancing.

Disgraceful service from lawyers who were only interested in taking money and advantage of those in a vulnerable situation. They took nearly 10k and gave no advice, and when asked to give advice, asked for more money on account. They sent many long emails failing to give advice, to listen to us as clients and failing to act carefully, proportionally or responsibly.

The detailed list of hours was provided and the people who had "billed" us were people we had never spoken to or seen emails from. Totally unethical and driven by greed to drive fees up for themselves. A short sighted approach. Strongly advise to avoid at all costs - if you need legal advice, find another firm.

Absolutely shambolic service from a firm wholly intent on charging extortionate fees and giving no advice. Do not use this firm.

I would highly recommend Howard Kennedy for conveyancing. We had the pleasure of working with Pervaze Ahmed, he was exceptional and went above and beyond to help facilitate the purchase of our home. We were particularly impressed with how responsive he was - it really helped speed up the process.

We have originally instructed the firm or a Tier 2 application matter on a fixed fee basis and the full fee was paid upfront. However, the firm attempted to increase the quotation for our subsequent Tier 2 applications in the due course, this gives us no confidence with a stable pricing with Howard Kennedy LLP in the future. Given the work doesn't exceed our expectation and the current quotation is already several times higher than other law firms, we have decided to terminate our instruction with Howard Kennedy LLP and requested a refund. Surprisingly, the firm has rejected our refund request even though no major work has been carried out on this matter. Beware when paying upfront with this firm, you might get nothing back.

My personal injury claim was dealt with by a female paralegal that provided ill advice, spoke down to me, didn't listen to my wishes, made incorrect assumptions; placed profit above my mental/personal interest; prolonged a case that could have been fast tracked by my own insurance legal team. I felt that my personal interest/mental state had not been taken into account given the low monetary value of the claim and the subsequent distress it caused.

I wish no other client to endure the same experience, especially the tone and manner of a junior legal member making someone feel so belittled. If you want to actually see any of your compensation, find legal representation elsewhere with someone that will be clear and transparent regarding the costs/process and won't leave you feeling belittled; AND most importantly will place your well-being first.
