This rebrand has been announced after months of work behind the scenes in partnership with marketing experts Passionbrand and brand consultancy Industry. Birketts has advised Potter Raper Ltd on the sale of the business into an employee ownership trust (EOT), benefiting over 170 employees.

Birketts' colleagues and clients are wishing Debt Recovery Manager Robert Howard well, as he is set to retire almost 50 years after his first day with the law firm.Academic and commercial maritime lawyer Dr Melis Ozdel has joined Birketts as a Consultant.
