Background.
I employed Johnson & Boon to draw up a lease document for my small former workshop and paid them in full back on the 13th May 2026.
Since that date I have had nothing but problems getting replies to both phone calls and e-mails.
I sent in a formal complaint that was subsequently ignored and another one to both the listed directors on the 26th June 2026. I even phoned their office to check that they had received these e-mails but received no reply from either director.
After sending yet more complaint e-mails I got a reply from Christopher Stephen Johnson stating that I will be getting a "reply" BEFORE the 13th August 2026.
Well that date has now passed and yet again there has been no reply.
Bottom line is a simple job that they originally stated should take around 12 weeks to completion has now taken well over 60 weeks.
Be warned this Company is quick to take payment, in full, on an up-front basis but then becomes both very slow to act and virtually impossible to get answers or replies to both phone calls and e-mails.

Robert Boon Solicitors were outstanding from start to finish. They understood my case straight away, took full ownership, and guided me through every step with professionalism and care. Let me start by saying thank you so much to Chris Johnson to Rob and the rest of the team at Johnson & boon solicitors. I had a licensing matter and was searching for couple of days like anyone would do before deciding where to go, any way after speaking with a few firms of solicitors who are specialising on licensing matters I felt comfortable with Johnson & boon, So Mr Chris Johnson was the one who handled my case from the beginning to the end. Honestly it was handled with no struggle and he made sure that I understoodeverything.

He kept me notified and up to date with every step of the way. He was really good and reassuring. He knew exactly what he was doing. Chris Johnson dealt with my divorce, and he was both professional and compassionate throughout a difficult, emotional, complicated process that nobody wants to go through. Rude just plain rude. I asked a question to be told it will cost 60 to be answered. So I asked well I have to pay 60 to be told I might not even be able to do anything. At least let someone know if yoh can help at all and more details can be doacudurijf consultation. 60 quid to be told you can't do anything is. A lot. Sort your attiour woman

My first ever experience with a solicitors and it was great. Mark Johnson was very helpful, responsive and transparent through my whole tenancy dispute issue.
