David Rosen spoke to me and not only did he understand my situation very well but got my request actioned within a couple of hours, something that none of the 5-6 solicitors I contacted were able to do on the same day. Paul Cramer at Darlingtons represented the developer for a new-build property I purchased. Paul was shockingly bad and he unnecessarily held up my purchase for a number of weeks. He was unresponsive, rude and quite frankly came across as highly incompetent. He did not bother replying to my solicitor's initial enquiries for over two weeks, making excuses that he had missed the emails.

He failed to respond to a number of enquiries on multiple occasions which meant my solicitor had to raise them over and over again causing unnecessary delays. His email responses were also highly unprofessional. I was fortunate enough to have a proactive solicitor who constantly chased him. Avoid him at all costs if he is allocated to your file, it is not worth the stress being left in his poor hands.

I used Darlingtons Solicitors LLP for my purchase of a property. I was a first time buyer and went to auction (leasehold property) which was very daunting but Nichola Bentley helped every step of the way. Started off with a report of the legal documents from the auction, which made it easy to read and understand and helped me make a decisive decision. (She highlighted a clause in the contract which would of made it difficult to get a mortgage, which I was able to get removed prior to auction if I was the succesful bidder.

Could of been costly otherwise) After winning the bid they subsequently helped me through all the other stages to completion ensuring everything was in place. I must of sent her endless emails but she always responded quickly and efficiently and worked quickly to ensure the tight deadline was met. Horrible service. Every solicitor assigned to my case vanished after cashing in 2-3 invoices. Finally my case was finalized, with a total cost of 4 times the original quote. also took 3 times as long as they said it would take. Horrible customer service. My solicitor was never reachable per telephone because "she was booked out" for the day, every day. I will be contacting the ombudsman to get my money back with a written formal apology.
