Simmons Stein was established in 1989 by Gary Simmons and Jeffrey Stein in the heart of London's West End. We are a two partner niche firm specialising in all aspects of Property Law. The emergence of the smaller niche firms has ended the demarcation between the large City firms and the smaller style firms. We have achieved this by establishing close ties with the leading property barristers and surveyors in the country, which enables us to draw upon a wealth of outside expertise to compliment the day-to-day work of the practice.

Gary was admitted as a Solicitor in 1982. He trained and later became a partner in West End firm Brecher & Co. He specialises in all aspects of Property Law acting for a wide range of clients. He also advises a number of retailers and has extensive experience of modern day institutional shopping centre leases where the structure of the transactions and the associated documents tend to be complex.

The main thrust of our practice is commercial property. It is the core of what we do. We work closely with our clients and their professional advisers, which help us understand their needs and objectives. We undertake a wide variety of cases, providing a tailor-made service. Negotiation of leases and advice on specific lease issues, for example rent reviews, dilapidations, alterations and repairs.
