Services
We are a growing firm of solicitors who offer a wide range of legal services, with offices in Bloomsbury, Central London, Finchley, North London and Hatfield, Hertfordshire. We are a modern thinking and easily approachable firm and are happy to assist with both your personal and commercial legal needs.
Defending applications by the Secretary of State to extend the period for bankruptcy restrictions. Advising debtors in relation to voluntary arrangements and referring debtors to insolvency practitioners who are known to us. Claims to reclaim monies which have been received by the directors from the Company, usually not paid to them via PAYE/payroll.
We are experienced in relation to making annulment applications and usually have a number of these running at any one time. The legal effect of an annulment is that the person concerned is deemed never to have been bankrupted, so it is as though it had never happened. This will restore their credit and reputation and will result in any of the individual's property which is vested in the Official Receiver/Trustee in Bankruptcy to be returned. It will also result in relevant bankruptcy entries in public registers or the Land Registry being removed.
We are experienced in representing clients in relation to building and construction disputes. We work closely with specialist construction counsel. There are two barristers who we usually engage to assist in connection with this type of work. Disputes with a property owner in relation to a list of alleged defects following a major renovation of a residential property - in this dispute, we acted for the builder.
Running a business is never easy. Despite good organisation, any business can run into disputes with suppliers, customers, contractors or industry regulators. Internal matters can also arise within the business between shareholders, partners or directors, which need to be resolved in a professional manner.

We appointed Lawrence Rodkin and his team assistant Michael and their barrister Nick to appeal against GMC 3rd decision that refused my wife's registration to proactive as a doctor. This was not an easy appeal as odds were against us as we have appealed before and they were firm, and we have been told by many solicitors we were fighting a loosing battle. Michael and his team was positive form the beginning, they saw a chance of us winning and based that on so many facts/laws other similar cases.
Their support was great, communication was clear, fees were fixed and they made us aware that whatever the outcome we were not going to pay any extra. They created a report as long that looked like a book supporting our case. I would highly recommend Lawrence, and his team.

Lawrence Rodkin acted for me against a large FTSE 100 company. It was great to feel someone on my side and so invested in the process. He and his assistants were always prompt to respond to my queries. I am very pleased with the outcome of my action. I settled favourably out of court. Highly recommended!

Lawrence Rodkin did a great job getting me a UK visa. It was complicated, and he was calm and thorough, but most important, the application was successful. I can't imagine how anyone could navigate such a confusing process on their own, and Simons Rodkin is up to speed on all the changes and nuances coming from the Home Office. Kudos also to his paralegal Michael, who went the extra mile.
