Services
Geoffrey Miller will continue to be able to meet clients in Crouch End as well as at Altermans Office in Finchley Central. Geoffrey Miller continues to provide services as a Notary Public and is contactable for these services by e-mail at gepmill@hotmail.co.uk or by telephoning him on 020 8340 2953.
Geoffrey qualified as a solicitor in 1977 and has practised in Crouch End for most of the intervening years, becoming familiar with the issues facing local businesses and local families, but also, living and working in a cosmopolitan city, building up a wide client base among people and companies with interests abroad.
During the initial interview we will explain the different options open to you, the necessary procedures and likely costs. Although funding matrimonial or family proceedings can be expensive, you will find that our fees are competitive and we will also discuss what funding options may be available to you.
We are very pleased to have been awarded in 2015 accreditation under the Law Society's Wills and Inheritance Quality Scheme (WIQS) which recognises that Miller Law Practice meets the highest standards of experience, expertise and client service in drafting Wills and advising on applications for Grant of Probate and Administration of Estates - as we have been doing for the last 30 years for individuals or estates of any size, complexity or simplicity.
If you are losing your job, perhaps through redundancy, your employer may ask you to agree to what is called a "Settlement Agreement" and tell you that you need to take independent legal advice on the agreement. Geoffrey Miller can advise you on the effects of you signing the proposed settlement agreement so that if you do sign it you know what terms you have agreed to. Your employer contributes towards the fee of such legal advice and this often covers the full cost.
