We have an excellent track record in representing Osteopaths facing both preliminary proceedings before the Investigating Committee [IC] and, if the case is referred to the Professional Conduct Committee [PCC], at that hearing. We have received recommendations for work from the British Osteopathic Association and we are on DAS legal expenses insurers panel of approved solcitiors appointed through brokers Balens.
We provide advice and representation to nurses and midwives regulated by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). We have a great deal of experience in representing nurses at all levels, from those who are newly qualified, staff nurses, senior nurses, through to senior sisters, matrons and specialist nurse practitioners.
John is Managing Director of Bankside Law. He specialises in professional disciplinary and regulatory defence work and white collar crime. His fraud defence work includes high value SFO corruption, FCA insider dealing, LIBOR and Forex cases. He was successfully involved in defending two clients in the SFO investigations in to Balfour Beatty and BAE.

My involvement with John Williams was second to none. I had an 8 week suspension and received at the end a damning report, potentially costing my career and livelyhood as a GP. There was only 5 days time to submission of a formal response to final hearing and John worked throughout the weekend to write a response. He brought the whole matter to the correct perspective with appropiate accepting of responsbilities from my part, challenging mistakes and flaws appropiately.
The result turned an Instant Dismissal into a Final Warning which made all the difference. There is no doubt in my mind that without John this would not have happened. I am so immensely grateful for his input.

I was referred to Bankside Law and in particular John Williams, as I was not confident in my previous representation. Mr Williams was exceptionally knowledgeable, professional and supportive throughout my hearings.
