I have had a very positive experience with Leigh. Dealt with my case very quick and very fast and he was understanding which made up for all the negativity I had with my previous case handlers. Both Janet & I have been impressed with the service we have received and the outcome of our claim against a French Driver who wrote off our car and left both of us in hospital. It appears very few firms of solicitors are either capable or willing to take on this type of claim, the same is true of insurance companies. So we are really grateful to Ward & Rider for all their help and would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Oliver Begley at Ward and Rider dealt with both our house sale and purchase- his approach was outstanding. Beware of these 'No Win - No Fee' solicitors - absoulute disgrace. Dealing with a road traffic personal injury claim on behalf of their client - simply could not wait for the insurance company to pay out so went ahead and registered CCj's against the 3rd party aswell as booking High Court Enforcement Agents. WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT? when it was the insurance company that was delayed & DID PAY OUT albeit after a short delay.

You put the 3rd party family through distress and mental torture! Absolutel disgrace - money grabbing practices. And if these people want to dispute this - I have all the documentation to hand from my insurers - as an idea to everyone out there - the personal injury claim for their client was a few '000's (less than 5000) - the fees charged to my insurers by this no win - no fee practice was over 40,000 - says it all.

Based on the information available on your post we cannot relate this to a claim we have dealt with and as such we would welcome a further discussion with you regarding this. I EMAILED THEM WITH A VIEW OF DISCUSSION - LO & BEHOLD - NO REPLY - probably just posted the above to deny any knowledge of their actions. very clever.

I cannot thank Craig and Ward & Rider enough for how they handled my claim. They acted with professionalism throughout. I had been involved in a road traffic accident when the defendant pulled out from a side road into my vehicle. The defendant went back to the scene and recreated the accident scene one hour later to make it look like it was my fault. Craig was alive to this issue and investigated the photographs and established the above.

Even when confronted with this evidence the defendant persisted in defending the came. They even pursued a claim against me for their own vehicle damage. Despite this Ward & Rider continued with the claim and fought for me at every stage. Faced with the prospect of a trial the Defendant settled in my favour weeks before the trial, for an amount I had offered a year before!

The defendant even withdrew their claim against me. Then when the insurance company did not pay they took action to get my damages in a timely manner. I cannot thank them enough for the way in which they dealt with my case throughout.

Horrendous experience dealing with Ward and Ryder. My advice is to stay well away. They dealt with my late fathers will. Not only did they never contact me and my siblings, despite chasing and chasing, it took them over 6 years to finalise the matter. At a time when you need help they offered me none. They agreed to extend a lease on a property which has made it more onerous than the previous lease and has lead me having trouble to re mortgaging.

I complained to the Ombudsman about the company who agreed with me and found in my favour. Ward and Ryder apologised and paid some costs. The list of complaints is too long to list. The worst firm of "professionals" I have ever come across.

Slow slow slow. Used them for my house purchase. I felt they were very slow in the proceedings and rarely returned my calls. The service wasn't particularly friendly. Have purchased three houses, so I know how long the procedures normally take, and these definitely took longer than other solicitors I have used. Fees were reasonable, hence why I used them, however I feel sometimes you get what you pay for.

Budget price, budget service. For everything they saved me in fees they cost me in interest on other items as I was waiting for a substantial sum from the sale of the property.
