Our history began in 1824, when John Wadsworth established our firm in Fletcher Gate, Nottingham. Throughout the following two centuries, we have continued to develop through mergers and acquisitions, adopting different business names along the way. Significant milestones in our growth include our merger with Leicestershire firm Bray & Bray in 2023, followed by the integration of Loughborough-based Woolley, Beardsley & Bosworth in 2025. Today, we employ more than 250 people and provide a comprehensive range of legal services to individuals and businesses across the East Midlands.We support individuals with dispute resolution, conveyancing, wills and probate, family and employment law, motoring matters and serious injury claims. Engaged Rotherbray to update parents wills and sort power of attorney etc. Was a little apprehensive at the start as parents are elderly, not in great health and struggle with this kind of thing anyway. Luke Smith from Rotheras helped me out of an emergency situation on a property purchase where I had another solicitor doing the conveyancing. Even though I never met him before, he cleared some of his schedule and got his team on it straight away. I figured, "I gotta have him on my team on the next purchase", so I did, and it changed everything. I used to think that purchasing auction property with bridge loans in 28 days was just something you see on Facebook until we done it.
