Jamie acted in the recent purchase of our new home and was excellent throughout. Utterly professional, helpful, responsive, Jamie ensured the whole process ran smoothly and trouble free. Our purchase was completed from acceptance of offer in a matter of weeks.

We were kept informed of every detail throughout. No delays, no last minute surprises, and a very reasonable bill. Having had an abysmal experience with another nearby legal firm earlier this year - which is now in the hands of the legal ombudsman - it was a very great relief to have Jamie recommended to us. He has restored our faith in the profession and we cannot recommend him or Rudlings Wakelam highly enough. Close family in Cambridge are now using him for their house move. Five star service.

I have used Rudlings Wakelam twice for conveyancing and both times have received excellent service. They are very helpful, concise, professional, efficient and courteous. Both times have been stress-free which I didnt think was possible having previously had some horrendous experiences. Jamie Robinson, is currently dealing with the purchase of my next home, I know I don't have to worry about anything which removes a huge pressure.

Ms Victoria Josif (Partner) was investigated; and found wanting, by the Legal Ombudsman following my complaint for - 1. Disclosure of confidential information to a colleague. 2. Providing a client with inaccurate information on three occasions. 3. Failure to progress a request in a timely manner. 4. Poor communications. For these failing the Legal Ombudsman recommended the firm pay compensation.

The recommended compensation was increased for failing to respond to the complaint made on 29 Mar 18. A response to my complaint was received from Stephen McGrath (Partner) on 19 Sep 18, but only after a letter was sent to the firm on 14 Sep 18 by the Legal Ombudsman asking why they had not responded. I would not recommend the services of Rudlings Wakelam, especially as the three people involved in the complaint were the three partners!

Helped me with my first property buy. Although hard to get hold of at times and on occasion not all information was shared with all parties which did cause some delays. However, I do understand that solicitors are very busy and some delays simply cannot be helped. I was moving over the December period which I know meant some delays with Christmas but it just would have been nice if everyone could have been informed on specifics (I often had to answer the estate agents calls as the solicitors were unavailable and try to update them but I also didn't know exactly what was going on.

This left the other side in some panic and caused added stress to other parties including myself). Overall I was pleased with the service the team offered and unfortunately stress cannot be helped with any house purchase! Very grateful for the time and effort they put in.

My solicitor provided straightforward and understandable advice, her administrator was efficient and always helpful. I would strongly recommend Rudlings Wakelam as they provided accessible, professional, timely and friendly Will, Probate and LPA services at reasonable fixed prices.
