Lows have a dedicated property team based at our Property Shop at 5 Broad Street, Kirkwall. Our core business is in residential property sales, but we also assist clients in buying and selling commercial and agricultural property, and we have extensive experience in leasing. When you buy a house, you may have to pay Land and Buildings Transaction Tax.

I sent an email, stating that I was seriously interested in a move to Orkney. Lows were recommended by an Orcadian. For a forever and only home. Was asking for advice on moving, as the law in Scotland is so very different than where I am now. I wanted to be there for a while during winter, to rent, and asked about that too to see how it was to live there. Had a very curt reply from David Bonner to say they don't do rentals, and to contact holiday home owners And that was it. Lows do selling, and conveyancing. Potentially a lot of money for them. So no, a bad experience. A half of one star rating would be more appropriate
