Being an executor of someone's Will can bring with it complications and sometimes onerous duties and the administration of an estate can often take many months (and sometimes longer) to complete. It is important to get it right because an Executor is legally responsible for administrating the estate according with the wishes of the deceased as expressed in his or her Will.
