Absolutely awful firm for family law. Highly recommend people read the reviews for their family law department across the board before deciding to work with Laceys Solicitors. I had the misfortune of dealing with Amber Tarrant and Claire Sawyer. E-mails would go unanswered for weeks, no preparation or contact before court hearings, they allowed CAFCASS to perjure themselves in court, dropped me as a client without telling me but told opposing counsel immediately who informed me days before I was due back in court (so opposing counsel was aware for weeks and blindsided me. Amber Tarrant actively ignored my e-mails during this time even though shed previously said she wold be in contact to discuss next steps) and kept refusing to do legal aid paperwork and insisted on me paying privately even though they were fully aware of financial circumstances. Tried to complain and was shut down, unsurprisingly as I expected them to close ranks and cover for each other which is exactly what they did.
