To ensure that Carvill & Johnson continues to provide the best possible service to clients, we moved to our current offices in Northfield in 2011. Located opposite the Black Horse pub on the main A38 trunk road, these modern premises are easily accessible from the motorways and arterial roads of the West Midlands, with plenty of free parking for both clients and staff.
Peter qualified as a solicitor in 1987 but has been working in solicitors' practices since 1984. He started to specialise in the field of Family Law shortly after qualifying and is now a well-known and respected figure in that field. His specialism and expertise is such that he represents children in wide ranging Children Act cases (being a member of the specialist Children Act panel).
At Carvill & Johnson, we are committed to offering a complete range of services to both private individuals and businesses, enabling clients to obtain good results quickly and cost-effectively. In general, our fees are determined by the actual amount of work we do, rather than a one-size-fits all approach.
Carvill & Johnson is a firm with its roots in Northfield going back to the 1960's. At that time a firm known as Bettinsons provided a comprehensive core service to all of the citizens in Northfield and its surrounding area. When Graham Clarke & Co took over the practice in 1985 it continued the tradition.

We employed them to purchase our first home, we were assigned to Farwa she was amazing, however she left the firm 3 weeks before completion. Her replacement Zoe, was very unresponsive, not responding to emails or telephone, considering that she was just supposed to keep us updated with the final steps, and considering that Farwa the prevoius solicitor completed the transaction 95% of the way, her service was not up to Farwa's standard.

Zoe was the lead for both purchasing and selling houses for me. She was absolutely brilliant! Extremely approachable, she made me feel at ease right from the start of the process. She was very efficient, and kept me abreast of the whole process - explaining things in Layman's terms instead of the legal jargon. If there was anything I didn't understand, I felt comfortable contacting her and asking for further clarification so that I wasn't left worrying. I would certainly recommend Zoe for all conveyancing needs. I wouldn't hesitate to contact her if I move house again.
