M LAW are media and intellectual property law specialists. The firm was set up in 2003 by Christopher Hutchings and Matthew Higdon, both practicing in city law firms who recognised that their clients' interests and specific needs, personal and financial, would be best served by a niche practice. Since its inception M LAW has realised those aims, going from strength to strength in both contentious and non-contentious work. Areas of practice include the internet and digital domain; printed and broadcast media; music; sport; the law of privacy, confidence and libel; product design; advertising; litigation and dispute resolution.
