Four years ago, Cobleys handled a significant data breach involving my wife, and their service was outstanding. We discovered that Newcastle-under-Lyme Council had been including my wife's personal informationher name, address, and mobile numberon their environmental letters, which were sent to various strangers. As a result, she received constant calls from people who mistakenly believed she was a council representative.
Over a period of three years, the council disclosed her data 38 times, violating the Data Protection Act.
Cobleys stepped in and successfully secured a substantial compensation for my wife, amounting to several thousand pounds. They also took care of their own fees, ensuring we received the best possible outcome. A big thank you to Cobleys for their excellent work.
