I telephoned many law firms to help me with a primary school issue. The only one firm that dealt with anything near to relating to my problem told me I had very little hope of achieving a successful solution and would not take my case on. I carried on with my search and, mid-December one year, Michael Charles answered my call. I briefly started to explain my issue, and he stopped me and said he would like to meet me.
This was the start of an amazing journey. Not only did Michael Charles listen to me, but he also guided me to what was needed; he engaged an excellent Barrister, QC at the time, and together with his team built our case. Michael Charles personally dealt with this case. He called me one Easter Monday at 21:30 hours at night and said, I have read your file and I have support from the Barrister, we will take your case on.
We never looked back. We first met with Michael Charles feeling battered; no one had listened to us, no one had supported us. He not only supported us, but he also followed the letter of the law to achieve a successful conclusion to our very sorry story.
