We decided to use DFA for our house sale not because they were the cheapest of the 8 solicitors we compare in Northampton (quite significantly cheaper than some!) but because we had read some great reviews online that called out a lady called Amy Butler in particular. When we were told she would be our contact then we decided to give them a chance and aren't we glad we did.

We instructed our sale on Monday 10th June and completed on Tuesday 2nd July, all thanks to the quick work of Amy and her colleague Jade Price. It wasn't the easiest sale either, our buyer's solicitor was particularly fussy, a few days before exchange she fired 21 enquiries at Amy & Jade but it didn't seem to phase them as they were all resolved a day or two later.

They both responded incredibly quickly to emails & were available to talk if you called the office, most days I would get a proactive email update from Amy or Jade before I even had time to chase. I would highly recommend DFA, Amy and Jade!

I gave them a call today and at first the lady hung up on me. I tried again and was quoted 150+Vat to certify my passport. Unfortunately the lady did not know that I already got some information from a friend of a friend working in London as a solicitor, and knew that it should cost only 5 per document! Absolute rip off! Stay away!
