Divorce Advice
Our specialist solicitors provide clear guidance through the divorce process, explaining court procedures, financial implications, and child custody arrangements. We help clients understand their rights regarding property division and spousal maintenance while minimising emotional distress. Our expertise covers both contested and uncontested divorces under UK law.
Financial Settlements
We specialise in resolving complex financial matters during divorce, including property division, pension sharing, and business valuation. Our team ensures fair asset distribution while protecting clients' long-term financial security. We handle high-net-worth cases and negotiate settlements that consider future earning potential and family needs.
Family Arbitration
This alternative to court proceedings allows couples to resolve financial disputes through a qualified arbitrator. We guide clients through the arbitration process, ensuring all evidence is properly presented for binding decisions. Our expertise helps achieve faster, more cost-effective outcomes while maintaining confidentiality.
Pre-Nuptial Agreements
We draft legally sound pre-nuptial agreements to protect assets before marriage. Our solicitors ensure agreements meet UK legal standards while addressing property rights, inheritance, and financial responsibilities. These documents provide clarity and security for both parties entering marriage.
International Family Law
Our practice handles international divorce cases governed by UK law, including jurisdictional issues and cross-border asset division. We assist clients with overseas connections regarding property, child custody, and financial arrangements while navigating complex international legal frameworks.

Questions
What is the divorce process in the UK?
The no-fault divorce process requires a legal statement confirming marriage breakdown, followed by a 20-week reflection period before a conditional order. Final orders take at least 43 days after the conditional order.
Do I need a solicitor for a divorce?
While not mandatory, specialist legal advice is strongly recommended to navigate complex financial and custody issues, ensuring proper asset protection and compliance with legal requirements during divorce proceedings.
How are financial settlements determined?
Courts consider asset values, earning capacity, pensions, and child needs when determining fair financial settlements. We help clients negotiate agreements or prepare for court proceedings to protect their financial interests.
Can I protect my business during divorce?
Business valuation forms part of marital asset division. We help structure arrangements that maintain business operations while ensuring fair financial settlement, often negotiating buyouts or continued joint ownership frameworks.
Do you handle international divorce cases?
Yes, we handle cases involving international clients under UK jurisdiction, addressing cross-border asset division, jurisdictional challenges, and international child custody arrangements governed by UK family law.
What are the costs for divorce services?
Court fees start at £593 with solicitor fees from £500 plus VAT. Total costs vary based on case complexity, with fixed fee consultations available to discuss individual circumstances and budget planning.

Diane sorted out a separation agreement for me about 6 years ago. There was no waffle, the perfect amount of empathy, stir in some humour and as enjoyable as these things can be. Plus I knew she had my back and I have since been in touch with a question or two and always had a very quick response. I would highly recommend!

I got excellent free advice when initially going through separation. Then when divorce came around I engaged their services and was very happy with the final outcome. Yes it costs money, but they saved me more, thanks.
