From Our Website

Verisona Law is an exciting, innovative and progressive law firm on the South Coast, offering legal services to both businesses and individual clients. The firm prides itself on delivering cost effective results, on time and to the highest standard for our clients, who range from multinational companies to sole traders and individuals in their personal and family matters. Whether locally in Portsmouth, across the UK or around the world, we at Verisona Law are proud to serve our clients whenever and however called upon.

Home | For Your Business | Employment Law for Business |Furlough - what is it and how does it work? The scheme offers the ability for an employer to designate employees as 'furloughed workers' and claim up to 80% of their salary from the government, capped at 2,500 per month. There is a limited amount of guidance around furlough leave and a lot of confusion, and this has been heightened by the Government referring to furlough leave as an alternative to employees being 'laid off'. Furlough leave and being 'laid off' are terms more commonly used in America, unlike in the UK where we have no statutory scheme relating to employees who are placed on a period of 'lay off'.

At Verisona Law we pride ourselves on being trusted professional advisers to individuals and businesses. We aim to be transparent to all of our clients, so have put together information on pricing for some of our services. Although we have provided as much information about our pricing as possible, costs will vary depending on your circumstances and we will always give you a quote which is tailored to your individual needs. If you have any questions about our Service and Pricing, please call a member of the team on 023 9298 1000 or email connect@verisonalaw.com where we will be happy to talk through the options.

This area of our website is here to keep you up to date with the latest news and developments in recent legal issues affecting you and your business. From newsletters, blogs and factsheets we will provide you with insight to what you need to look out for and how we can help.

Divorce is never easy, but when children are involved the emotional cost is far dearer. Understandably, divorcing parents are often concerned about the impact a divorce will have on their children and there are also a range of decisions that must be made about children's welfare during the process. Divorce is not a situation many people plan to be in and, as such, it is common to feel unprepared when faced with it. While divorce is often a complex and emotional process, understanding the steps that need to be taken can help you feel more in control.

Verisona Law has plenty to offer you if you are looking for your next career move. Based on the South Coast we are an innovative, fast-moving firm with specialists in most areas of business and personal law. We are here to help our clients achieve their ambitions - and we extend the same support to the people who work for us. We have two offices in Portsmouth which are located at Lakeside North Harbour and Waterlooville. Our 1000 Lakeside office is set within the large and modern Lakeside business campus and is ideally placed for access to the M27 and has transport links via bus and train and on-site car parking.
