Lodders is a law firm built around outstanding legal advice and exceptional service to regional, national and international private clients. Lodders was established over 230 years ago in the Stratford upon Avon area. We currently have four offices, 25 partners and approximately 110 staff. Lodders' main office is in Stratford upon Avon and houses all the main departments of the firm. We also have a fast-growing office in Birmingham and an office in Cheltenham which offer services to clients in South Warwickshire, the Cotswolds and Gloucestershire.

When these disputes do occur, you need to feel certain that you have a team of specialists on your side. Lodders' dispute resolution solicitors work tirelessly on behalf of our clients, finding a speedy and effective solution to their problem. Our experienced team will help you understand all your options and then agree with you the best strategy to take to achieve the desired goal, keeping the need to protect your reputation and relationships at the forefront. We believe that it's not always necessary to resort to court action to overcome differences.

With a dedicated team of six partners, six solicitors and eight additional staff, our private client services include all aspects of wills, trusts, estates and tax planning and care and capacity matters. Lodders' friendly and effective team has years of experience in drawing up wills, whether you are starting from scratch or updating or amending an existing document. We advise on lifetime gifts and the appropriate inheritance tax exemptions. We can also consider the allocation of existing pension arrangements and life assurance policies.

Lodders' employment law team work with a range of clients, from owners and managers of SMEs and large corporations, through to long-serving employees and senior directors. From drafting contracts and policies to negotiating settlements and conducting employment tribunals, we regularly advise on both contentious and non-contentious issues. Where possible, we always aim to ensure practical solutions are adopted in the workplace, and when relationships have broken down, that a fair conclusion is reached.

Our team of family lawyers, led by the highly experienced Beverley Morris, is committed to putting our clients first. Our family team now incorporates Birmingham-based firm, Divorce and Family Law Practice, following our merger on 1st July 2017, which only increases our team's depth of knowledge and breadth of experience. Personal service and taking responsibility are essential elements of Lodders' overall client care, together with offering a confidential and discreet service. Lodders' Family Law team works with experts in other related fields including accountants, tax advisors, trust lawyers, wealth managers, financial advisors, lawyers in foreign jurisdictions, and barristers to ensure each and every client benefits from a complete service.

Led by Mark Lewis, Lodders' specialist charity law team offers substantial, in-depth expertise gained through working with charitable and not for profit organisations of all shapes and sizes that value the personal and responsive service we provide. Our charity solicitors find work in this sector highly rewarding. From day to day advice on the full range of charity law and governance matters through to complex restructures, our lawyers support our clients with insightful and supportive advice and enjoy contributing in a small way to their good works.
