After serving his articles with a West End of London firm of solicitors, Keith went into commerce and was in-house solicitor for H J Heinz, before entering the world of property development. After spells of service as company solicitor with a small development company specialising in leisure, and later with John Laing Property Company, he set up his own private practice capitalising on the skills gleaned in both his earlier private practice and recent commercial experience. Over 30 years in Pinner Green, a satellite of Pinner Village has seen the firm of Keith Flower & Co become one of the most experienced and respected firms in the area giving advice on a wide range of subjects beyond those normally expected from a High Street firm.

When a person dies, their affairs might need to be dealt with. This is called 'administering the estate'. If the person who has died made a will, one or more people are usually appointed by the will to act as the executors and these are the people entitled to administer the deceased's estate. If you are named as an executor in a will you may need to apply for a grant of probate to enable you to administer the estate. A grant of probate is an official document issued by a section of the court known as the Probate Registry.

Although most people appreciate the need to make a will, it is estimated that up to 70% of people in the UK die without making a Will. It is important to make a Will to ensure that your wishes are met when you have gone. In many cases a simple Will is all that is required. This can be written quickly and without great expense. Mirror Wills are often made for couples who wish to leave everything to each other and where appropriate, Wills incorporating a Trust can be made in order to provide extra security for your loved ones.
