There have been some major changes to Legal Aid since 1st April 2013. The Legal Services Commission has traditionally provided Legal Aid assistance to those who have been financially eligible to cover all aspects of family law. To qualify for Legal Aid, you'll need to pass a means test. This considers your income and expenditure and establishes whether you are financially eligible for Legal Aid-funded services. If you are not eligible for Legal Aid and you still want to be represented by a solicitor you will have to fund that yourself.
Dear Liane, I just wanted to let you know how impressed we have been with Emma Penn throughout our house sale and purchase recently. She was recommended to us by someone who said "she's the most efficient person I've ever come across" and we would agree. To add to this, her communication throughout has been brilliant so we have been kept in the loop all the way through much more so than our previous experiences of house purchasing. She's a huge asset to the firm. Recently my husband and I started the process of buying our first house and Kelly began helping us through every step of the way.
Nearly every commercial organisation will have some interest in property, whether as an occupier, developer, investor or commercial landlord. If you, or your business, is planning on purchasing, selling or leasing commercial properties, or seeking to raise finance or negotiate a joint venture then we can help make the process hassle free. As leading legal providers to the commercial property sector, with years of collective experience in the field of property law, Hopkins Law are here to help. We aim to make your commercial property deals complete within your timescale and run as cost-effectively as possible.
The divorce lawyers at Hopkins Law are some of the most respected and experienced in the UK. We strive to resolve family disputes in a conciliatory manner by negotiated agreement. However, where court proceedings are necessary, we have the expertise to run such cases decisively and effectively. A common misconception is that no fault divorces are available. This is not the case, as without a separation of at least two years (and unless both parties agree) or at least five years it is simply not possible to obtain a no-fault divorce.
Following qualification Liane practiced as an in-house lawyer at the Principality Building Society followed by responsibility for the management of the Deeds Department and then Mortgage Administration and Insurance Department, roles which have helped Liane combine legal expertise with management. Whether you are buying, selling or remortgaging a property, or considering the option of an equity release package, our experienced residential property lawyers are on hand to guide you through the entire process.
Mark Leyshon helped me with an employment termination agreement. He provided a clear outline of the key points to be aware of in going through the termination agreement and gave clear advice. He reduced the pressure I was under considerably, providing confidence in the way he dealt with things. Much appreciated, and I would use him again if the need arose.
