From Our Website

Collins & Hoy Solicitors has been formed as a result of the merger of E M Collins & Co Solicitors in Pinner and Garside and Hoy Solicitors in Harrow. The merger has brought together 2 long-standing and well-respected firms. Collins & Hoy have built on the reputations of our founding partners. We take the best possible care of our clients and their families and have done so for generations. The firm are a highly approachable, knowledgeable and above all thoroughly professional company. At all times they have acted for me with great respect and integrity and all members of the team have been a pleasure to deal with.

Collins & Hoy brings together two established and highly respected law firms who each enjoy a reputation for providing exceptional legal advice and the highest possible level of client care. Together they build on this tradition and deliver a better and more comprehensive service for you and your family for generations to come. We are very proud of our history and our reputation for taking the best possible care of our clients and their families for many years. You need to know your lawyers will be here to look after you, your family and your home long into the future; our established history proves we will be here to do just that.

Wills, Tax, Trusts & Probate - Whatever stage you've reached in life, it's always worth thinking about the future. The Private Client department at Collins & Hoy advise on a range of matters for individuals and families. We respect the importance of understanding our clients' needs and believe we have a practical, respectful and sensitive approach to matters. We are able to call on expertise from other departments of the firm to provide a comprehensive service to our clients on all aspects of their affairs.

Mediation is an alternative way to separate or divorce. It allows you to work through your situation to find the best way to resolve any issues involving your finances and/or your children. The first step is to arrange a (MIAM) appointment. If you and your partner would like to mediate (and we encourage couples to contact us direct but alternatively solicitors can also refer any of their clients who would prefer mediation) and we consider mediation to be suitable, we'll arrange a date for your first joint meeting.

Just as you think you have got everything covered, something unexpected crops up, something that could delay the sale or purchase of your property. These delays are not just time-consuming and stressful they can also prove very costly, especially if your transaction falls apart completely. Our specialist conveyancing team is made up of highly experienced residential property professionals who between them have more than 25 years' experience of buying and selling houses. As a result we have the knowledge and experience to provide you with the legal support you will need to make sure any transaction runs as smoothly as possible.

The decision to divorce or separate is always difficult so it is vital you get the best legal advice from the start. At Collins & Hoy, our first step is always to listen to you and find out as much as possible about your situation. At our first meeting we will be completely open about the likely costs and provide you with an estimate of our fees based on the time we think we will spend. That fee will reflect the experience of the solicitor/s involved (all of which will be set out in our invoice for total transparency).
